HTC Flip Clock (visual design elements by Paul Hurst)

Real life-like flip animation, next number is behind current digit, and appears as the earlier digit falls. Top half digit panel fades-out to black as it falls, the bottom half digit panel fades-in from white to visible as it continues to fall. Flip animation occurs during the last third of the prior second (i.e., between 12:01:59.3333 to 12:02:00).

AM/PM indicator in lower left of bottom hour panel (unless 24 hr mode is forced, after which AM/PM only displayed up to 12:59:59 pm).

DAY/NIGHT weather icons. Weather changes based on current time compared with sunrise/sunset.
