re: the battery gauge circles on the left, the following description is ALL thanks to +Brian S (Queron TruthSayer) on Google+.
"The gauges indicate your phone and watch battery status. The outside (or left-hand) quadrants are for the phone, the inside/right-hand quadrants are for the watch. Therefore, since there are 10 quadrants for each indicator, each quadrants equals 10% charge. When fully charged, the top quadrant will be green."
