Face that Launched a Thousand Apps

This watch face is whimsical but functional too. I wanted to use a recent vacation photo of a beach sunset in Edmonds, WA as the backdrop and also have lots of app launchers and live info on my screen. WatchMaker didn't make me compromise on anything. I like roman numerals and asymmetry, so I went with an offset roman numeral watch dial and brought in custom images and text effects to dress up the live info. The bright screen shows heart rate, step count, weather, moon phase, wifi connectivity and watch & phone battery status, as well as date, time and today's sunrise and sunset time. Eight different apps are launched from tap actions, and I used scripts to bring in heart rate, step count, local temperature and sunrise/set times. An alternate dim screen still provides the basics but saves precious battery life on the Moto360.
